In the US recently, they took part in The Memphis Blues Challenge getting dangerously close to the final. Fernandez guitar work pays credit to the time he has spent in Chicago and Texas jamming with the likes of Luther Allison, Lucky Peterson, WC Clark & Billy Branch and playing alongside Texas legend Uncle John Turner (drummer with Johnny Winter & Lightnin’ Hopkins), plus the Fabulous Thunderbirds bassist Preston Hubbard and sax virtuoso Sax Gordon.
