York’s finest 7 piece Genre terrorists The Magnificent Seven formed through a series of chance encounters and cleverly orchestrated covert manoeuvres. They were united by a love of music, words & dinosaurs, and a pathological dislike for genre boundaries.

Coming together in 2014 they have been locked away in a top secret lair just off Walmgate in the true capital of England: York. From this base they have been experimenting on various bassists and crafting a variety of exciting musical sounds ready to explode onto the scene early in 2015.

Identifying with the diverse UK underground punk and ska scenes they are not afraid to beg, borrow and steal inspiration from anything that vibrates their collective eardrums. Hip-hop to Reggae, Metal to drum n Bass and even the odd pop song. All these influences wrap themselves around a lyrical landscape of drinking, politics and every day life to create a deliberately diverse, deliciously dance-able distraction from the monotony of mainstream media.
