The Butterfly Wheels play a unique brand of rain soaked northern rock n roll. They mix 1960’s garage band riffs with post punk bass lines, devil may care vocals and a good selection of shoes!

Their tastes and influences range from blues and soul to punk and indie. Key influences include: The Jam, The Fall, Curtis Mayfield, Velvet Underground, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Pulp, The Smiths, Gil Scott Heron, Iggy Pop, Jack White, Elmore James and Echo and the Bunnymen.

The five piece band are well established on South Yorkshire’s live circuit having played at Tramlines, the Plug, Green Rom and other well established venues in the vicinity. They are bringing their unique brand of post-punk psychedelic blues to The Leopard for the second time following a triumphant gig and album launch in October 2015.
